My fishing rituals with Dad...

Waking up at 05:30 in the morning to a lovely summer day... wearing a short and t-shirt, grabbing some sandwiches and getting ready to start our ritual... This is something I love to do since I was a small child.

You get on the boat and the journey begins...

And did you know that this is the most beautiful time of the day? Especially when the weather is clear, the colours are so vivid and the only sound is the silence of nature...

So, this is how it looks actually

It makes you feel free, dreamy and thinking of how great life is...

Oooh here are the early morning workers who I love to watch, they are trying to catch fish bait (kind of small shrimps)

Moving on our way we come across to a lot of fisherman, who tries to make their living... We try to get some tips about the best locations, if we are lucky they share tips. If not they wish us 'good luck' and pretend they did not hear us :-)

My father has special techniques to find the proper location, the place you will drop your anchor. Sometimes you will not be in your lucky day and you will have to move your location several times, until you find the best resources :-) And when you finally find it, fishing will start... I can tell fishing is a kind of 'meditation' but with some 'adrenalin'..

If it is a big catch, you scream until you get it safe into the boat... (take into consideration that this one is quite big for line fishing) And the rest, will be our dinner for tonight...

Now it's time to swim and take the advatage of being in the middle of the sea, so far away from the land...

So, we are on our way back... look at the big fisherman boat, nice colours...

Hey! we wish you good luck !!! See you next time...

Thank you Dad for the great experience I have, each time...

And you're lucky to share those moments with your Dad. I'm sure it's one of the people who inspires you. Mine is!
